Cloudscape Brazil 2017 position papers

Cloudscape Brazil position papers have become a much awaited document for all those looking at future cooperation between Europe and Brazil. We are proud to deliver the 2017 edition to you.


Further recruitment of the Working groups, including relevant standards and industry participants, based on outcomes of WGs activities. D2.2

This deliverable explains the rationale, role, and activities of a second WG (WG2) b eing proposed based on the results of the on-line survey undertaken and described in D2.1 and the subsequent EUBrasilCloudFORUM workshops held in November, 2016. The new WG2 established in Year 2 focuses more on Policy elements such as standards, regulatory and legal aspects. The deliverable establishes the terms of reference (coverage areas), objectives, structure and potential membership of the new WG, and lays out a roadmap for future WG related activities, including applying as a Special Interest Group (SIG) and on Cloud Computing within the remit of the Brazilian Sociedade Brasileira de Computação (SBC - EN: Brazilian Computer Society).


Interim report of the Working groups activities. D 2.1

The  inputs  of  the EUBrasilCloudFORUM Working Group have already been used for a number of important consultation activities, which are reported in this document. The WG members have been invited to the EU-Brazil Policy Dialogue workshops being held on 9-10th November, 2016, in Brussels. This deliverable D2.1 comes just few days before this event.


Environmental monitoring, Smart water and energy management, Assisted health and well-being: why is EU-Brazil cooperation needed? D3.1

On 30 June 2016 EUBrasilCloudFORUM released the deliverable D3.1 "Analysis and identification of the gaps and research opportunities related to cloud computing, including security".The document, available for download, highlights three scenarios with potential priorities for cooperation between Europe and Brazil, identifies drivers for expanding research activities in the two regions and list gaps and preliminary opportunities where Europe and Brazil can already start working together.
