All the project partners have been involved in the past in international research projects, organization of international scientific events, collaboration activities between Europe and Brazil, etc. A key example is the EU Brazil working group set up at the EU-Brazil workshop held last July, 2014 in Brasilia. The group (including representatives from UC, Trust-IT, UnB, and UFSC) reflected on the previous experiences, discussed future challenges and opportunities, and prepared a findings document (for the European Commission and for the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MCTI)) on the model and topics for the 4th (2016) and other future calls.
